“The pool/jacuzzi/sauna was great to have on a rainy day. There was plenty of choice on site for eating and drinking or it was just a short walk into town. The hotel is virtually next door to the cavernous St Macartan's cathedral, the outstanding building of Monaghan. There was a wedding on the day I arrived which made reception very busy and the staff less available but no less friendly for it.”
“Lovely twin room with good shower in ensuite. Excellent kitchen/common room area with lots of cooking options - oven, microwave etc. Sofas for groups to relax.
Parking would normally be good but on the Saturday night, the local GAA team were playing and the car park and surrounding streets were rammed.
Only disappointment was the check in as no-one from the property was there. We had to phone up the international ( for us) number causing extra expense. It might help future visitors if the...
