βVery nice historic house, however bathrooms are outside - just be aware about this. Soundproofing isn't that great either, we were lucky to have quiet neighbors but if they were noisier I imagine it would be pretty annoying. Everything else was very nice and comfortable β€οΈβ

Spacious bathroom and a lovely little deck outside your room and access to a private outdoor bath. This is very close to Roxburgh and Ettrick traven is just up the road. I would love to come back and stay here again.
There is no staff on site and i had to go to the cafe next door to ask about how to access my room. The ladies in the cafe said...
