Secluded yet reasonable distance to surrounding towns. Donna (owner) is amazing, lovely, accomodating. Cleanest premises ive ever been to. Only downfall is wifi/reception in certain places. Definitely will be back. Kids thoroughly enjoyed!

Absolutely amazing place, the scenery beautiful. the accommodation superbly clean and well maintained, the Hosts Donna and James very friendly accommodating and warm people. It is a piece of heaven you have to visit.

Loved the property. The accommodation was of a high standard and was exceptionally clean. Great pool and nice walks along river.

The Mighty Murray
Donna and James are the most welcoming and hospitable hosts. They went out of their way to ensure our stay was pleasant and our needs were met, lending us a bike so we didn't need to hire one. The location of the cottages is delightful, they are well equipped and very very clean! The onsite facilities are great and is the overall location. A great spot for a bit of R & R, we shall return! :-)

Absolutely loved my stay at Tokemata. Could not have asked for a better place to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. Donna provided me with a very warm welcome.... even helped me navigate my way in (having driven right past the entrance - my fault). The complimentary bottle of local wine was very nice indeed... Donna also kindly gave me an extra bottle to take home to my partner who couldn't make the trip. I'll definately be coming back.

Tokemata retreat was perfect in every way. Rom was impecable, well featured and sparkling. Bed was comfortable and the breakfast inclusion was great. Fantastic setting. Lovely hosts.

Beautiful and comfortable house (loved the comfy bed and the fact it looks new), fantastic swimming pool (salt water so much better than chlorine!), lovely views, and really friendly owners. We had the best time! The only thing that I missed was faster internet, but it was probably a good change!

Donna gave us a warm welcome and tour around her retreat. We learnt about her experiences and hardships about running a farm. Thank you for sharing that with us. Otherwise, the cottage stay was wonderful and accommodating to our needs. The kitchen, bathroom and bedroom was in immaculate condition! I highly recommend if you want to get away or visit the cactus country that is 20 mins away! Thanks again, Donna!

We loved our stay, such a lovely outlook and homely feel in the unit, and a nice close walk to the murray river. Breakfast supplies were great and the added touch with a bottle of wine was a lovely surprise. Would definitely stay again!

From the warm greeting on arrival to our departure 3 days later, everything about Tokemata was excellent. The accommodation, cleanliness and provision of breakfast ingredients with the added bottle of family heritage red was exceptional. Outdoors we enjoyed the walks through the bush to the river, the golf driving range and putting green and the a friendly hit of tennis. Visiting the local foodie attractions and eating out each night added up to a great time for the four of us. Would highly recommend to anyone.

The retreat is run by Donna, who goes out of her way to make your stay, a great experience. Teamed up with hubby James, it’s a fun stay. This was our second stay, and we will return, to this tranquil farm setting, with super comfortable and clean accommodation. Generous breakfast goodies provided. Lovely Murray River location, enabling bush track walks, with bird and koala sightings. Driving range, solar-heated pool, kiddies playground, tennis court, beautiful bbq area. And did I mention the lovely Donna. Take me back to Tokemata.

Stay at Tokemata
Great location for a relaxing stay. Plenty of activities to do and an interesting walk to the Murray River. Very friendly host, and clean and updated units that are well stocked with extras that make a difference. Thoroughly recommend Tokemata as a place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay. The cottage was neat and clean - fresh linens, beds were comfortable and kitchen equipped with useful tools. Was great value for money for a family of 4. We also enjoy some games of tennis and basketball. A short stroll to the river was also great. Great view and peaceful if you are seeking some quiet time as the cottage is located away from major roads.

Perfect retreat with superb facilities
From the minute of our early arrival we were looked after in every way! There is so much to see and do, with a heated pool, golf course, tennis court and a Koala wood leading to the banks of the Murray river. The accommodation was very quiet and well equipped. We stayed 5 days but could have stayed much longer.

One of the best places I have stayed in!
Donna and James were absolutely lovely! The cottage was just perfect and immaculate. The surrounds were beautiful and after a stressful day I was totally relaxed within minutes of arrival. I wish I could've stayed longer. I will definitely be back.

Fabulous place to stay - comfortable, peaceful
Tokemata resort is a fabulous place for both couple or families. It is clean and comfortable, the cabins have everything you need for a great stay. The outlook of the property is beautiful and there a plenty of activities to keep you entertained -for adults and children alike Donna is a gracious host.

How's that serenity?
I loved Tokemata Retreat. The cabin was spacious and well maintained. The kitchenette was very well equipped with good quality utensils and saucepans etc. The venue was spectacular, beautiful outlook from all the windows. I didn't use any of the facilities (golf, tennis, pool .... to mention a few), but I do plan to come back with my children!
