โSuper hotel in middle of Dolgellau. Efficiently run by courteous friendly professional staff. We did not eat there but wish we had! Everything as it should be in a good hotel. Plentiful overnight parking in the long stay carpark behind the hotel. Some traffic noise as it is an old building with single glazing but that is to be expected. โ
โEasy check-in. Room was big and bed really comfortable- large walk in shower was great! Air conditioning in room was fab too! Breakfast was included and was delicious with plenty of different options. Staff friendly and welcoming. A brilliant stay over the bank holiday weekend โ

Everything was provided, from ecofriendly shampoo and bodywash to pristine robes and towels, a lovely coffee machine, fresh mik with the tea facilities and an excellent guide to the house, its facilities and local walks. As it turned out, we were the only visitors staying in the hotel, so had a nice opportunity for a chat over a beer - well stocked with what appeared to be the full range of bottled beers from Purple Moose Brewery of Porthmadog.

โOur stay was perfect all the way from the initial, warm greeting from Pattra, to the wonderful room, a lovely Thai dinner and, then, a peaceful nightโs sleep and an excellent breakfast. We can offer no improvements. Just thank you for a great visit. It also has a great location-just around the corner from the Castle!โ

โI found the staff very friendly and helpful. On my first night the weather was awful and sadly the room had a few leaks. I informed the staff the next morning to make them aware. Water damage is not good. They immediately asked if my suitcase was ok and asked if I needed anything drying. They then proceeded to move me to a lovely big room, which was lovely and very spacious ๐โ
โI spent a few nights at the hotel with my family of 4. The hosts John and Maria were very kind and helped us with everything.
I can only recommend it to anyone with children or pets.

โWe stayed at this lovely apartment 19th-23rd February on arrival it was easy to acess and clean we are a family of 4 two teens whoโve both said theyโd visit again.
The apartment is a five minute walk to the train station and the town and the beach is opposite.
Just a shame it werenโt pet friendly!
