The breakfast is surely something to behold all manner of sweet and savoury delights, the idlis were particularly good served with sambal and the dosas were delicious with a lovely fluffy potato fillings.I’ve never been away at Christmas time before,the Taj had a magnificent tree and presents in the foyer with Christmas lights.They even laid on a Christmas parade with Santa on a motorcycle!! "An outstanding experience for a four night stay. Right in the heart of the city, whereas Marine Drive hotels require time and transport. The staff at reception, housekeeping, dining are complete professionals who genuinely care about guests' experiences. Elegant rooms with many mirrors and, count 'em, 15 total light switches. Immaculate. Thoughtful touches. Prompt in room dining service. Breakfast in Shamiana restaurant beyond delicious with so much variety. But it is the people who make The Taj so memorable. This hotel is a sanctuary in crazy busy Mumbai. We recommend it highly."
