I only stayed 1 night but I know the area very well and the guest house is a short walk from most places in town but quiet and peaceful guest house location
Penrith is a beautiful picture postcard town and very handy base for traveling to the Lake District
I will certainly be booking again

โOur stay at the New Inn 1730 was only overnight, and we arrived around 6pm on a Sunday evening. This is a welcoming & friendly pub, with restaurant and accommodation. The owner did his best to accommodate our needs during our short stay, and is still finding his feet a little having only recently taken on the business.
Food options were limited when we arrived, particularly for our two fussy children, so we did eat elsewhere that night, but the cooked breakfast in the morning was very good,...
โBeautiful property, really friendly owner, unbelievably comfortable bed and stunning decor on deluxe room king room. Also had a lovely cooked breakfast. Great location, close to town centre with easy parking outside. Would thoroughly recommend! โ
