"The place was beautiful. Only issue i had was when maintenance came around knocking on doors 8:30/9am. After a night out my boyfriend and I were deep asleep. I yelled give us a sec and they proceeded to open the door and I pushed it shut because I didn’t have on proper clothing. If there’s going to be maintenance please let your guests know day before, not just random knocks."

"The property was nice and the room was as well. The only things I hated about the room was the super hard mattress (they don’t have Matt toppers) and extremely soft pillows (no next support). I loved that they have wildlife there and had a cat program. Food was great! Some staff were nice, but others were nice. Beach was great."

"I stayed in a swim-out suite at Sonesta Ocean Point for four nights with my boyfriend, and overall we had a very enjoyable experience.The swim-out suite was excellent, and the room was clean and well-maintained. The resort itself is beautiful, with a great location next to a charming town and a casino, making it easy to explore the area.As for the food, I would rate it as average overall, but Azul was the standout restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We were not impressed with the Italian restaurant, although the rest of the dining options were decent for an all-inclusive resort. The drinks were very good throughout our stay.One of the biggest advantages of the resort is that it caters well to both couples and families. The adults-only side is peaceful, with dedicated adult pools, and children generally do not spend much time in that area.The beach is beautiful, but the pathway leading down to it has quite a few rocks that the hotel should clear to improve safety. Beach service doesn’t begin until around 8:30–9:00 a.m., so there’s no need to wake up extremely early for chairs. However, most chairs are taken by noon.We had only a couple of minor issues with our swim-out suite. The door had a larger gap at the bottom than expected, which allowed some hallway noise into the room. We also saw a cockroach come through the gap near the door, although it didn’t get far. I think the hotel could improve the room doors by sealing those gaps better. I would come again!"
