Great location and parking. Apartment a bit small for 4 people. Scorching hot and impossible to cool down. Safe en stove didn’t work. After 5 weeks I am still waiting for refund for double paid parking fees.

Good location but small room

Good location within easy walking distance to sights across the city. Accommodation was small and fairly basic, but very clean. Situated on busy road which was noisy with sirens and traffic.

The apartments are very well located, only 10 minutes' walk from Heumarkt and a 5-minute walk from Poststraße U-bahn station. The apartment itself was fairly basic and a bit dusty in some areas, but comfortable and spacious enough for two people, with TVs in the living room and bedroom. The bathroom was clean and the shower was very good. The free coffee machine and cakes in the lobby were much appreciated, although a bit more coffee in the apartment would be nice. Overall, an enjoyable stay and I would happily book again.

Great hotel!

This was a very well situated hotel in a lovely city. The hotel is very comfy and the staff were all keen to make sure we had a good time. The free tea and coffee was a nice touch. Staying in an apartment/hotel meant we could have three of us in the same place much more conveniently than if we were in two different hotel rooms.

Loved this hotel! We couldn't get the temperature of the room quite right and ended up a bit hot at night but overall the amenities in the room were great. Free hot drinks & occasionally snacks downstairs which was an added bonus. Supermarket a couple of minutes walk around the corner. Thai over the road is fantastic! Staff were always super friendly and helpful :)

Good amenities and location

I was very satisfied with all aspects of my stay at Aparthotel Köln City. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming, the apartment was in a good condition and great location for walking to the inner city and local grocery shops. There is free selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate available 24/7.

Convenient and comfy apartment hotel

Very convenient apartment hotel. Small, but efficiently planned apartment with fully stocked kitchen. Everything was clean and well maintained. The only minus would be that the beds were a little hard. Despite windows towards a busy intersection, the rooms felt very quiet. Within walking distance to city centre, U-bahn and local area with restaurants. A well-stocked supermarket with café just around the corner.

Overall, our stay in the hotel was brilliant. It was a shocker when we found out that we could enjoy huge cups of free coffee in the lobby every day, which was generous. Although the room was a bit small, the air con helped making our stay comfortable. The beds were comfortable as well. Additionally, the staff were polite and helpful as they helped us to deal with several problems. However, the variety of cooking utensils could be added more.

Excellent: Dog-friendly and close to the city center and reasonable price Good: Quiet (probably depends on the room roadside or opposite), bus tab, parking fee is every 24 hours cycle so you can enjoy city central after check-out. Not bad or good: A card key was not working properly (can be exchanged), breakfast was equal or less than average, it was a sofa bed and was too soft, some staffs were very kind and friendly and some staffs were not. Probably no air conditioning (heating only). Overall: I will stay here again if I have a chance to travel to this city again.

The studio was very clean, spacious, well equipped and in average condition. It was convenient to have access to a fridge, a microwave and a laundry room just in case. There is also a collapsible laundry rack in the room. The breakfast was simple but good. The pet fee was extremely reasonable if you’re bringing a dog or cat. There were some board games, a foosball table and a piano in the lobby to help pass the time. The location was quiet and away from tourist traffic but still within walking distance of attractions such as the chocolate museum. It is also right around the corner from a Rewe grocery store. My only complaint was the front desk. They were understaffed so check in ended up taking 40 mins. In addition they were not always very responsive when it came to requests for new sheets or towels.

We had an apartment for five nights. The hotel had comfortable beds, more space than a hotel room and a spacious bathroom. The hotel is in a great location for Christmas markets and the staff were very helpful. Also was in a quiet area.
