Perfect for a low budget stay

Great stay, stayed for 4 nights. Was perfect location for a low budget Christmas market hotel. But still only a ten min walk into town. Room felt dated but beds were comfy and room was cleaned every day. Noticed a lot of dust under the bed on the last day though and bed sheets weren’t changed once whilst there but wouldn’t stop us staying again as front desk were friendly and helpful and we loved the location

TV did not have any channels. Not connected. Single Room was quite with a single bed. The light from the opposite building (which was on all night) bothered me as the curtain was not long enough to stop the light bleeding into the room. Staff was very friendly and area was nice.

Good price for a good location. Decent rooms with great cleanliness. Friendly staff. I managed to forget my keys and they were kind enough to send them to me, 150 kilometers further. If I’d visit Köln again Ariane would be my place to stay.

It has a distinct smell and the hallways are not very nice or fresh. The shower handle was broken, the doors to the shower was hard to close. The curtains are not covering the full window. Apparently they are not serving breakfast anymore.

You can easily get to all attractions simply by walking along the main road from hotel to hauptbahnhof. Hotel service is better than my expectation. However, do expect there would be some noise if your room located next to the stairs. At this price, I am very satisfied with what I have experienced.

The worst hotel I’ve ever spent a night. The room advertised is different than the one offered, it made my experience in Germany very poor. Very rude Staff, apart from a young girl that tried to help us. Very dirty room, dirty sheets, dirty toilet. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

We were given our room on the top floor bedroom. It had no power/lights at all. The caretaker wasn’t around to fix the problem, so the front desk person had to do it himself. It was fixed when we came back. The room was small, the bathroom was dirty. We thought there was breakfast included, but went down in the morning to find out it was free for everyone, but not for us. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Nunca nos pudimos conectar al wifi, el hotel está descuidado, aspecto sucio, colchón incómodo y nos picaron insectos, la zona parecía algo insegura aunque estaba céntrico. Solo estuvimos una noche y en general no lo recomiendo vs el precio esperaba más.

There was no breakfast available. There are pictures online of the breakfast offered, when? The first morning we had coffee that was available. The 2nd morning the woman charged us 3 euros for a small cup. There was no sign stating this price. The woman wanted names on whom gave us coffee! We stayed 2 nights there. The Christmas market & cathedral are nearby. I wouldn’t stay there again. The staff is mediocre. I noticed a man checking in & he kept ringing the bell for service which took approx 5 mins. When we checked in we had to wait until 3pm maybe 2:15 if available which is understandable, but the baggage hold was not locked up. We placed downstairs near the WC & that place looked like a giant junk room. An elevator is available only to the 4th floor. We had 5th floor and had to take stairs one floor up. The hotel needs some attention. Good thing about hotel is it’s near shopping.
