“It was a roach hotel. So many roaches on check-out day. Front desk looked the other way. No help from them or management. It was a nice room but ruined the whole stay by the little critters.”

“This was the worst best western I’ve ever stayed at. The beds were uncomfortable and the air conditioning unit made so much noise it was difficult to sleep. The pool was heated to an uncomfortably warm temperature and the pool room was excessively humid. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and helped in resolving an issue that was not theirs to resolve, so I appreciate the staff for sure. This property is in dire need of upgrades, or to call it what it is and adjust the price...

“When checking out, reviewed bill and noted 2 days parking -- we took the Amtrak and said that when checking in. Bill was revised; however, there was a need to review to catch this oversight. Cafe on the property was closed in the afternoon. I would have been nice to have an evening coffee available on premises. Bar service was especially friendly! For our second night, it would have been nice to have the beds made up.”

“Beautiful view of the Yampa River off the balcony. Air conditioner worked amazing in 99 degree weather. Staff is very attentive, friendly and open to any questions or concerns. Beds were super super comfy, shower was also great. Great location within walking distance to everything in steamboat.”
