"The positive: There's permanently someone at the front desk you can talk to in case of a question or an issue. The staff are attentive and responsive. The hotel is located very close to the centre where you can find plenty of restaurants, caffe and bars. The breakfasts are good.
The negative: The rooms are small. The isolation is poor. People talking in the corridor felt like they're standing and talking inside my room. The facilities are old. Hot water is not really hot in the busiest hour...

"Alta Traful wastes the opportunity it has to provide guests with an experience as unique as the lake it is situated upon. The room was basic and bathroom (tiny sized) had taps either leaking or falling of. Parking is not enforced so vehicles were parked irregularly making it difficult to park our own — I took a photo & asked reception to get the truck moved but she did nothing. The breakfast staff also stood out with their warmth and attentiveness. Each morning started with a smile and delicious options, all served with care and attention to detail. We felt very looked after throughout our stay, as though we were staying with family rather than at a hotel.
