"We've stayed at the Spark several times and will continue to choose it. It is reasonably priced and a good overall value. The only complaint I have for this stay was that we tried to check in at around 1:30 PM (Official check in is at 3:00). Most hotels that I have stayed at will allow us to check-in that close to 3 PM if a room is available. The clerk would not allow me to do that unless I paid a $25 early check-in fee. I refused and had to return later that afternoon. She also mentioned that they had 8 rooms like the one I had booked available. It was disappointing to me, since this is our hotel of choice during our visits to San Antonio."
