โThe property has been renovated nicely. I like the bright new bathroom. The bedding is very nice. Blackout drapes are great. The mattress was not the best. โ
โThe whole place was old and disgusting. I found hair in both beds. It was dusty and DIRTY! The beds were old and dirty. The celing fans were missing in the bathroom with wires showing all over the place.I could not recommend this place to anyone.โ
โIt was a good location for our golf trip in Powell River. Only takes 5 minutes to the course, but to the downtown also 5 minutes. The staff was so kind. Our room was clean and specially a nice View from the room. We enjoyed much our 2 nights staying. Except hotel's breakfast; 1small orange, yogurt, cold muffin in the box. โ
โOn several occasions the water supply to the hotel was turned off. This was especially frustrating on the day we arrived. As a result, we delayed our booking-in and stayed with relatives longer than we had anticipated which was an inconvenience.โ
โJust a beautiful place, surprisingly with everything we needed in one small area. Great breakfast options and coffee at Nancy's bakery just steps away. A lovely pub with pleasant service, a beautiful view of the ocean, and a terrific menu. And another boardwalk restaurant with seafood options and more. Also, right behind the hotel is a beer and wine, and market with all basic needs covered.
To top off, all staff and locals friendly and courteous. โ
โConvenient and fun kid pool/slide and hot tub for the parents. Breakfast hours were a little early but decent meal for the road. Helpful and friendly staff. Great to have some EV chargers. Not a great gym but good to get some basic exercises in while on holidays.

โThe cabins and resort were beautiful and well managed. My only faults are out if their control. I should have done my research better. There is a very busy, very noisy road between them and the ocean. I saw before we went tge road, but didnt know it was basically a highway. As i went with the plan to sit on my porch and read books and listen to tge ocean....i was quite disappointed. Thats on me, not them.

This building really was the old court house and each room in the building, from the 1910s or so, has been converted. The decor, strangely enough, reminds you of Asia or perhaps Asian fascination from that period of time.
Downstairs is the equally fascinating Edie Rae cafe where you will get the best breakfast (free with your booking) that I have had in a long time.
