“I stayed with my children, and they loved the swimming pool although it is a bit small. It was quiet and cozy for one night stay, and its location close to decent wineries is best advantage with hotel's friendly staff. If I visit Barrosa valley for shopping and tasting wine in summer, I will visit this hotel again.”

“Stayed here for a couple of nights for a wedding in the area. Te room was big comfortable and good for the price. The shower was good the doors a bit noisy when closing as no cushioning bug hardly an issue. Both toilet and shower rooms are cold and the room was fine for us but no real heating so would be really cold in winter About 15-20 min walk from main shops / restaurants. ”

“The room was very clean and cosy.The only issue was the hot water service. It ran hot, then cold. The hot water ran out when having a shower the first night. I informed the staff, and they told me maintenance will have a look at the problem. In the morning the hot water ran out again. We had to turn off the hot water, then turn it back on again, it came back on, but we had very quick showers. “Well stocked with good quality products from toiletries to coffee/tea breakfast supplies even a 1lt. juice and milk. The only minor negative, no drinking water supplied for taking medication or middle of the night drink when you get up with a thirst . They also offered a cheaper night extra stay and a later checkout which was great.”

(Our bathroom door did not close but not material). I think the comms could be improved a bit (we couldn't unlock the trolleys but too late to fix and a map would help) and the multiple wotif emails to provide access codes etc was a bit confusing but that is just feedback for parties. “A peaceful country oasis where we spent an enjoyable and relaxing weekend. The cottage was very well appointed with great amenities and a very comfortable bed. The breakfast ingredients were of a high standard, we didn’t leave a crumb!! Great location with delicious options for high quality dining out within walking distance.”
