"The lodge is quiet!!! Our room was immaculate, the bed was very comfortable and the view of the lake from our room and the lounge was wonderful. Many thanks to our hosts, Connie and Donal, who were amazing. Breakfast was the perfect start to exploring the area. We spent time on the Aran Islands and in the fishing mecca of Oughterard. "The entire house is disgustingly dirty. Very unsafe too. Few of windows have cracks, no ventilation, many windows have no openings. Bathroom door was held by screws which were loose, we had to tightened it in case fall down onto one of kids. Mattress we slept on was stained and yellow.. Location isn’t great either. For five nights stay we paid €2600. We never had such horrendous experience."
