“Lovely quiet and secluded. The area around the lodge is absolutely breathtaking. Breakfast and dinner were lovely as well. We used the lodge as our base for a couple of days of hiking in Connemara and it was perfect! The only issue we had was our room was too hot and we couldn’t find a thermostat to lower the heating, opening windows was not really an option because of insects.”

“Beautiful hotel. Checking in, staff could have been more courteous. Kept me waiting while someone else charged their phone making a booking for their stay. I had to stand and wait. There was no apology, or guidance. For the standard of the hotel and cost I expected a higher standard of service ”
