A tranquil retreat

A peaceful, comfortable place to stay in an excellent location. Near enough to the ruins and the little town to be convenient, far enough away to be completely quiet. First class breakfast.

El hotel súper recomendado en cuanto a instalaciones. Lamentablemente estaba hospedado un grupo de ocho personas aproximadamente que parecían delincuentes, sumamente ruidosos e irrespetuosos. Deberían limitar a ese tipo de personas

Redelijk sfeerloos geheel. Personeel was aardig, maar slecht getraind/begeleid: nog bezig met het eten van de voorgerechten en de hoofdgerechten worden al op tafel gezet. Met name toetjes niet echt smakelijk en thee smaakt naar koffie. Muziek in eetzaal behoorlijk op de zenuwen werkend. Kamers en andere ruimtes schoon en een goed werkend internet. Kleine 5 minuten rijden naar de Maya ruïnes en een 20-tal naar de grens met Guatemala; uitstekende weg. Het huren van een gids heeft bij het bezoek echt toegevoegde waarde. Kosten gids USD 21 en inclusief tunnels USD 42. Zorg voor gepast geld, want reken niet op wisselgeld. Copan Ruinas stad heeft zo zijn charme. Lokale archeologische museum is super klein (10 mijn).

IN MY OPINION, THE BEST CHOICE IN COPAN RUINAS!!

This hotel is well situated outside Copan Ruinas (the small village is short driving distance away). I highly prefer to stay here because it is extremely quiet & peaceful. One has the option to easily go and mingle in the different restaurants, shops, laundry service and supermarkets in Copan Ruinas; but return to a very tranquil environment, with beautifully kept gardens a nice pool and jacuzzi and a very commodious room. I traveled during the Christmas Season with my mother, an elderly lady 85 years old who uses a walker for seniors, and an adult brother with physical disabilities and mental illness. He makes traveling extremely more arduous/strenuous. However all staff was always eager to assist and help in many ways, specially when things turned difficult/problematic. Wi-Fi is included as part of the hotel services and functions extremely well and fast. From this location, one can easily organize to travel to the different attractions like Macaw Mountain and the archeological site of Copan and the museums. The border with Guatemala is less than half an hour away in a paved street. Kudos to the personnel!!

Copan Ruins

Very convenient location to Copan Ruins. I enjoyed the hotel atmosphere where you meet a lot of people from different nations around the world.

Excelente servicio por parte del hotel. Las instalaciones muy limpias y presentables. Totalmente recomendado para una estadía tranquila y agradable. El personal es muy amable en su atención y nos dieron el servicio esperado y la ayuda que necesitabamos.

Beautiful place

The best part of the experience was having breakfast eating outside while enjoying the view of the garden and the mountains, of course while savoring the pupusas and authentic Honduras breakfast.

My group when on an excursion to visit the Mayan ruins. This hotel was selected do to the close proximatity. The staff was very friendly and the service was good. The room was clear. The quality of room furnishing may not be up to US standards, but they were more than adequate for the nights stay. The hotel resturant food was extremely good and very tasty.

Todo estuvo excelente, una pequena cosa fue q el jacuzzi no tiene sistema para q fluya el agua, solo de 6 a 9pm y el agua se siente estancada. La piscina, jardines, restaurante, bar son fabulosos

Great Value - Walking distance to Copan ruins

Room was very clean and comfortable. Had an electrical problem one afternoon that was fixed within 5 minutes of the report. The restaurant food was very good and the staff very eager to take care of guests. If you do not feel like walking the hotel shuttle will transport you to town and/or to the ruins and pick you up for return - a real money saver.

Very Service Friendly

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay of 7 days. Had to extend as after watching out the window during the long trip to Clarion Copan Ruinas Hotel that I saw almost no road signs, so realized that I could not drive the rental car I had reserved, so stayed at the Clarion longer. The hotel staff were very accommodating and provided free transportation from the hotel to Copan Ruinas City which I used multiple times each day. Ate at the hotel for a few meals and the food was quite good. The last day of my stay on Friday evening they put on a really great dinner buffet. The air conditioning worked very well and kept the room nice and cool. They had a very nice pool which I did not use, but sat in the chairs beside to read and soak up the sun.

Hotel is close to the runes

was not very happy with this hotel.. the check in staff had my reservations incorrect and spend sometime convincing them that i did have reservations at the hotel and that i paid fully for the rooms. the room was very clean but the bed slide all over the stone floor.. the pool was not clear water but a milky white color and the hot tube did not work and the staff said it would be many days before it would be repaired.. the food at the hotel was not bad but way over priced.. most items were over 13 dollars.. in the town are much nicer places to eat and is only 3 miles away.
