8/10 Good

"Quick review: Staff was helpful and allowed early check-in. Clean facility and conveniently close to all major landmarks in the Saint-Germain area. Rooms are a good size for the price, especially for Paris. One downside was that there was no room cleaning during our 5-day stay, so we had to replace towels ourselves, etc. Other than that, everything was as expected."

"On first arriving in our room, we immediately saw soda sprayed all over the wall behind the bed. We had to have someone come in and clean it as soon as we arrived. Our water closet (toilet room) reeked of urine. You could see streaks across the back of the toilet and walls. I mentioned it to the front desk and asked that it be cleaned very well but it was not cleaned well enough. The urine stench was present the entire stay. The floors in our room were also dirty. Walking around in sock feet, you could feel your socks sticking to the floor. The staff weren’t super helpful either. When we asked for transit information or directions, they were unable to provide any help. We toured Europe for a month and the Mercure was by far the dirtiest, least helpful and one of the most expensive places we stayed. Definitely not worth the money."

"L’emplacement est parfait avec sa cour intérieure. Pour le prix (450 euros / nuit, 730$. Canadiens) nous avons eu un système de climatisation insuffisant 3 nuits sur 6. L’excuse de l’hôtel, il y beaucoup de clients. De plus, prendre note qu’aucun service de restauration ou bar n’est offert le dimanche et lundi, le prix n’est pas ajusté…"
