Hotel Raymond VII
Incredible, historic building, good check-in. One must plan to drop luggage and seek parking which is hard to find when visitors are at peak but as the traffic abated in the evening, odds improved.

We actually left because it was so awful. Fortunately the guy on reception was very understanding. It was totally unsuitable for anyone over 25 as it was so rowdy and the lodge was really bad. Sorry to say this but true.

The apartment was clean, spacious, and easily accessible. Everything you need in an apartment for a short stay was available (most importantly coffee and tea and a hot water boiler). We didn't cook, so I don't know how well the stove or microwave worked. There is an AC/heater unit in the bedroom ...
