"This was an open and airy hotel with a tidy small room perfect for one person. (They have larger rooms too). The bed and pillow were comfortable. The staff were great and the location was very close to the main sites (less than a ten minute walk). Also it was close to the train station. I would stay here again for the convenience, cleanliness and the price. "

"Having requested a room with a view we were rewarded in spades. Room 301 was beautiful, thank you. Only complaint is I’d have liked coffee in the room rather than having to go down to the reception area for a drink as I don’t drink tea. Frontage of hotel does not reflect the beauty inside "

"The Alfaros is a nice hotel in a great position, around a 10 minute walk from the Mesquita and Roman Bridge. The room was bright with a very comfortable bed, good shower and good quality linen and towels. Large bar/lounge and patio area. The photos are representative of the style of the hotel which is slightly dated, but everywhere was very clean and the staff we met were all very friendly. The breakfast was excellent with well cooked hot food and a great range of pastries, fresh fruit & yogurt and ingredients for tostadas. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a visit to Córdoba. (Note there is no kettle in the room as seems to be the way in many Spanish hotels, but the coffee from the hotel bar & at breakfast was very good). "
