Everyone was very helpful and kind. Hotel rooms and bed were superb. Front reception staff were excellent. The only weakness was the breakfast which was bland and quite basic compared to everything else.

Large terrace with sofa and chairs was the best part of the superior room but the room itself was small - so it is a compromise. Superb selection of fruits and pastries at breakfast. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, an old palace in the historical center of Cordoba. We walked throughout the area with it's beautiful, small streets and alleyways. The staff was very helpful with directions to get us started, then we just explored all over! There are tons of tapas places and little cafes to stop for a drink and wonderful food. There are lots of shops as well, both local and larger, more well-know stores. The location right on the plaza was great. The pool was nice for a quiet couple of hours to rest in the shade. We had a terrace room, which was lovely, but the room was quite small. The bathroom was nice though, and quite spacious.

My husband and I stayed here for two days as part of our honeymoon, and it was our favorite hotel of the trip (out of 4 total we stayed at while city hopping). Our room was spacious and clean, and the pool was a fantastic way to beat the heat in the afternoons. The rooftop bar had stunning panoramic views of the city, and the location was perfect for walking around and sightseeing. We arrived early by train and reception stored our luggage for us while we explored the city until we could check in. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again!

Perfect location. Bathroom a great size and the shower was nice and powerful. The pool area was pleasant. One big negative for us was that the breakfast only offered self-service coffee machine which for us is not decent enough in a four star hotel. When we go away we want to be pampered.
