“This resort is a beautiful hidden gem in Salema. Everything was perfect. The people are so friendly. Our room was cleaned everyday and we were shuttled everywhere with a quick call to the main reception, free of charge. It was quite the service. The ocean was beautiful. “Excelentes condições, tudo muito limpo e arranjado, sitio espectacular e staff muito simpático. Só achei que a falta de pão no pequeno-almoço foi uma grande falta de atenção bastante grave, sendo que houve muitos clientes com crianças que não comeram por causa disso e o supermercado do parque já estava fechado para o inverno.”

“Step back in time in this little village near the coast. Each little apartment has a living space, bathroom and a well equipped kitchen which includes microwave oven, stove and Smeg espresso machine on the main floor with winding steps up to a loft with a comfortable bed. The restaurant has a great chef with lots of homemade Portuguese dishes. We highly recommend this place. ”

“To start off, we had a late arrival to the property; working with Stella at the front desk, she made our arrival seamless and easy (they do not have a 24 hour front desk). The location of the property could not be any more picturesque and the location to the town and local beach makes it feel like everything is right in your very own backyard. We will absolutely return if provided the opportunity. Thank you to the staff at Pontalaia Apartamentos!”

“I’m confident it will be better over time, but right now they have quite a bit to work on. Many drinking glass were not cleaned and spider web on some chairs. Despite >85% empty (my assumption) we got an apartment where we had to go up some stairs to reach it. No elevator and not possible to change. The reception is not very quick or helpful. Took 10 minutes from the got or passports until check in was done, or even more. On the plus side, it’s rather affordable to be this section of...
