We were offered an upgrad to a sea view room which was a beautiful view but we still had to pay the upgrade charge . You would have thought this would have been complimentary due to the room being free anyway and to compensate for the building work .”

“This is a very special little hotel. First, the staff was so friendly. We got there in a rental car, and I was nervous driving on the narrow streets of the historic center. The garage is a block or two away. I drove to the hotel first to drop our bags and ask about the parking. A woman came out and walked ahead of me to the garage, and all the way down until I was neatly in a space.
