"Good location, very bad smell in the bedrooms."

"Wonderful room comfortable beds lovely bathroom .. but lacked tea/coffee making facilities in the room. However there was a cafe downstairs.We used the restaurant for our evening meal which was excellent good value for money and very polite professional waiting staff a credit to the company . I would use the facilities again and recommend to other travellers."

"Great parking directly under the hotel. Restaurant across the street was delicious but took advantage of what they sold us (different review). Not pretty, but clean. Front staff on arrival was concerning, apparently if you don’t speak Vasco (Basque), the female at the desk, gets rude. Overall it was a place to stay. I would not stay in Gijon again, very industrial and loud. No rest because of a lovely train station next door."

"A terrific old school hotel with an amazing views and fantastic setting. Very understated and elegant. If not for couple of small quirks the stay would have been perfect. Chair on the room had wobly legs and was unsuitable for seating, the enclosed terrace had a chocolate wrapper on the floor for the entire 3-day stay and a nice upscale restaurant on premises somehow decided that serving butter in packets lime they do in buffets is ok."

"You can’t beat the location if you want to be close to the airport. You literally walk over there in two minutes. The guy that helped with check-in was very nice. I didn’t try the restaurant. Only complaint would be you can really hear people moving around and outside the room so if you are a light sleeper be sure to come prepared with earplugs."
