"Would be incredible if covered areas for hanging up robes/towels could be installed around the pool deck since it is open all year round. Service at restaurant during breakfast is super friendly but unbearably spotty. We had one morning where not one server visited our table the entire time we were there (sure, we partook in the buffet, but not one check in from wait staff before, during or after our meal?!). The hotel and gardens are gorgeous - brutalist architecture, lush vegetation and water features. It feels like you are at a resort but you are in the heart of the City. Amenities are good and overall would recommend for families traveling to Montreal."

"We stay at Hotel Faubourg Montreal every time we visit Montreal and Laval. The hotel's location is within walking distance of Place de Arts, which is really cool with lots of shops, activities, restaurants, and is a central hub to everything. We love that the parking garage is under the hotel and safe. Yes, the hotel is a little dated, but it is CLEAN, the beds are super comfortable, it's quiet, the rooms are big, and the shower water is hot. Clean towels, hand soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided. The kitchen is convenient with a fridge, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. There is no stove or dishes/utensils; you can request them (not the stove), and they will have you pick up some compostable dishes/utensils from the front desk. All cleaning staff are helpful and friendly. The breakfast included is nothing fancy, just easy. Eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, cereal, bagels, toast, cereals, fruit, boiled eggs, yogurt, beans (must be a Canadian staple), fresh coffee, etc. For the location and price, it's a great place to rest your head after exploring what Montreal has to offer. We have NEVER had a problem with anything or anyone at Hotel Faubourg. Perfect place to stay if you are catching a concert, a show, attending a festival, or just sightseeing. The area around the hotel is a bit run-down, but you are in the middle of a major city, so it's expected. We have never had any issues with the few homeless in the area. "

"Clean room and easy access. Perfect if you have a early flight departure. Need upgrades re sofa bed-all torn out. A simple sofa cover would have made it. Check out should be updated to make it much quicker though. "
