It is an exceptional hotel with a class. Great for families! Also, the free breakfast helps. Although the hotel is not in the downtown area, it is easy to get to downtown or old Montreal by the metro orange line from the Namur or Palamondon station.

It offers a very good complimentary breakfast, spacious suites with kitchenettes, and is located in a quiet part of downtown, just a short walk or Metro ride from major attractions. The room was very spacious and clean but there was a funny smell in the hallway. The room had nice open kitchen but lacked more than 2 chairs at the kitchen counter bar. Breakfast was good with a couple of hot choices (that changed daily), but the serving area was way too tight to navigate with just a few bodies trying to jostle for food. Many times there were not enough plates. The swimming pool was small and cloudy water and no towels to be seen anywhere. Really close to metro (9 minute walking distance). Lots of restaurants and stores (including Walmart) within walking distance. Quiet room if your room didn’t face the highway (we were on the side of the building). Overall it was a nice place.

Breakfast is really great! Variety of croissants, baked goods with hot entrees (sausages, eggs, omelettes, etc). They clean rooms every day! Sheets are super clean. Parking is a bit of an issue when parking on the street, but the hotel garage is available for an extra fee. Pool and laundry on site. Very friendly and welcoming staff!

To begin, he bathroom sink stopper was broken and would not drain at all. After calling staff, we were told that facilities were backed up and would not be able to help us until a whole day later. This obviously impacted our stay due to only having access to a small sink that was unfit to serve as a washroom sink, and quite far. The overall cleanliness was good. However, safety was a huge concern for us. We located a tracking device hidden inside our driver side mirror that could only have been placed while we were parked at the inn's underground parking garage. Overall, the two female staff members (one who was a supervisor) who were working around 10 pm on Sep 6th were incredibly unhelpful and made us wait over an hour when dealing with this emergency. No accommodations were provided to ensure our safety during the last night of our stay While the staff members who assisted us while checking in and out

This was a great option for me because I was looking for comfort, cleanliness, real breakfast and fitness facility. The Residence Inn, fortunately, checked all the boxes. Staff was super kind before I even got to Canada - they were kind enough to fix my check-in time limit to 3AM, considering I was coming in from an international red-eye. Once I got there, I realized they were friendlier even! Bedroom was sooooo spacious, I was in awe. Kitchen was very well-equipped and fridge + kitchenware were all squeaky-clean. Bathroom was also spacious and clean. The Fitness Center was very nice! Had enough treadmills, dumbbells, multifunctional sets and plenty of room for several guests. I used it on 4 out of my 5-day stay. I remember it was packed one morning (aprox 10 guests), and it still felt super spacious and welcoming. And they keep it very clean as well. Breakfast had several options: eggs (omelette and scrambled), bacon, potatoes, cereals, breads, oatmeal, fruit, juice and more. It's also a 5/8-ish minute walk from the Namur Metro Station, which easily connects you to the Center of Montréal in aprox 35 minutes. I would definitely choose it again and recommend it.
