“Complete absence of service or hospitality. I will be asking for a refund. Service? Nope Front desk open 3-7pm. 24 hours, 3 different contacts…? Nope. I called no less than 15 times to each of the 3 proffered contact numbers when locked out of my room- no answer or call rejected. One of the numbers- on the official property literature and signs outside reception- actually said to me: “ I have nothing to do with this hotel. I have no idea why my number is there!” After an hour of standing out...

“Hotel S Bento is your typical larger hotel. The staff, however, was very friendly and helpful. We did have dinner in the hotel one night which was quite good but if you are looking for ambiance, it's not at this hotel. The location worked out perfectly with easy access to the National Park which was our primary desire. I'd stay again but simply be ok with a "hotel" vs. any type of BnB.”

“I highly recommend stopping here if you are on the Camino and want to stop in Caminha or Seixas. The private rooms are small but very nice. I had a view of the beautiful cathedral in town right outside my window. There is a beautiful view of the Minho River from the deck outside. The shared bathroom is very clean and the shared common room was large (as well as the kitchen). Patricia who runs it is also very kind and helpful. Definitely a 5 star stay!”

“there was nothing we liked... the foto made one think it was in a green location. it was sqeezed in between other hotels, on a very steep hill, very narrow street reception is in bmt. staff was unfriendly, room was like a cell, window opened untoa roof and walk way, so we could not sleep w. open window... address is wrong, the place is in Geres which is a town 27 km further east, we had to backtrack after we got to the town that is noted on the reservation, which is act. the district...

“We loved our stay at Peneda ecofarm. It is well located for walks in the National Park and only an hours drive from Porto's airport. There are several natural river pools to swim in with in a 30 minute drive of the accomodation. Which we were directed to by the owners. Our room was modern and fresh with a lovely balcony.
