Nice hotel with excellent service

Your Personal attention was their priority. Got upgraded to bigger room with balcony and was well chilled. Was in the city center and accessible to all locations visited. Their pool was nice

Hôtel confortable,sûr: parfait pour un consultant

Séjour très agréable à tous les points de vue malgré la situation au regard de la pandémie Covid-19 pour un hôtel accueillant une clientèle étrangère dont la fréquentation a drastiquement diminué avec la situation sanitaire en Europe et au Etats-Unis. La Direction de l'hôtel est attentive et maintient un haut niveau de prestations. Excellent souvenir. Adresse à recommander.

Comfortable hotel, great waitstaff, front desk ok

The hotel was well located in the city center within walking distance to the market + Foundation Zinsou museum. The food + restaurant service was great. Accommodations were lovely with a great rooftop pool. However, unlike all my other hoteIs during my trip I did not have good service at the front desk. The ATM did not work + the front desk would not exchange USD for me even though they had a currency exchange sign. That would have been fine but the woman at the front desk kept giving me attitude about it and brushing me off to come back in the morning. The excuse was they did not have any cash. However, I knew they had plenty of cash (I saw the large envelope of money they used to give other guests change). But they kept saying they had no CFA. Why they didn't just say they didn't want to exchange USD I have no idea. So that was frustrating. Also, the front desk guy got a little nasty and accused me of overstaying when I came down for the airport shuttle. He did not realize I had paid an additional fee that morning to check out late since I had a midnight flight. Only after I showed him my receipt did he realize I had paid extra for a late checkout. He didn't apologize for his accusation or attitude and I thought that was a bit unnecessary. Overall the stay was fine and the rest of the staff was really great. But for a nice hotel I would have liked a bit nicer front desk service.

This hotel needs to hire someone to deal with an obvious cockroach infestation. I found and disposed of approx. 15 or 20 roaches in my room during my one night stay. There were also roaches in the gym. Needless to say I checked out early, as soon as a room in another hotel became available. The one positive about this hotel is the people who check you in. They were all friendly and professional. This could be a nice, reasonably priced hotel after they deal with the cockroach problem.

Primera experiencia en Benin

Habitaciones privilege muy bien, nuevas, bien equipadas, limpias, aunque las ventanas están clausuradas y opacas - la estancia larga no es muy agradable. no vale nada. El restaurante deja mucho que desear. Y fuera del hotel no hay Alter activas a pie "seguras" Piscina exterior bonita, y bar al lado interesante. Servicio muy agradable y atento.

Good value for money

Generally good visit. We liked the room with comfy king-sized bed. Friendly staff at breakfast and front desk. Check-in was sluggish but we were happy once we got to our room. Note that the building layout is odd with quite a bit of stairs due to levels on the floors.

I can't recommend this hotel. I just got back from a West Africa tour and I stayed in 8 hotels while there. This was the worst. The hotel check-in was much slower than it needed to be. Room was tiny, but I didn't mind the size so much as the look and feel of it. Seemed pretty gross, from the hallways, the elevator and then finally the room. We got dinner at the rooftop restaurant by the pool and service there was very slow (we heard a dish drop and I'm pretty sure it was ours). I had to ask for my drink three times. An hour later it finally came (and it was the wrong drink). Wi-Fi was average for the area. Check out in the morning was smooth. In the US, this would be a one or two star hotel.

Destination qui m'a agréablement surprise, réseau routier très correct et beaucoup de choses à découvrir, villages lacustres, centres artisanaux, marchés qui valent le détour etc.. à l'hôtel parfait, personnel accueillant, souriant, prévenant,et d'une grande douceur, chambre spacieuse, literie confortable, hôtel très propre, espace bien être et spa magnifique, havre de paix avec des tarifs très intéressants et du personnel efficace, hôtel proche des centres d'activités avec une connexion internet parfaite. En deux mots je suis ravie et y retournerai.

Beautiful Time Out

We had a great time at Benin Royal. The room was nice n cozy and super neat though I feel the TV was a little too small for such a nice room. The staffs were very friendly and the breakfast was awesome. We were unable to try out other meals cause their menu book is all written in French and we couldn't understand anything written on it. I feel they could have made an English version too. Aside that we enjoyed our time out and almost didn't wanna leave.
