This is one of the scariest, most run-down motels I have ever been to in my life.
On the plus side, the front desk staff was very courteous and helpful! However, that's where the positive aspects end.
As I was checking in, two fun occurrences (just in the 5 min I was checking in!)
A man called the front desk on the phone asking the manager to force a woman to return his belongings. She brusquely informed him to call the police and that she could not help him.
A group of hoodlums was outside one of the units making a racket which other guests were complaining about, and the manager sent her old lady helper to put a stop to it
Perhaps 25% of the rooms were being rented to low-income, apparently jobless people whose broken-down cars littered the parking lot, greatly detracting from any chance this place had of appearing normal.
The room itself - stank terribly, no shampoo, no alarm clock, broken TV remote, tiny TV.
I would not recommend staying here unless you can deal with this type of thing, and are more concerned with a cheap room than any amenities. I would also recommend bringing your CCW, as Kentucky honors permits from all other states!
