게스트 하우스 느낌이며, 각 방에 화장실(샤워실 포함)이 있음. 작지만 깔끔하고 주인이 직접 신경 쓴 집이라는 느낌을 받았음. 도착했을 때 리셉션을 만나진 못했지만, 손편지가 알림판에 있어서 집에 들어오는데는 전혀 문제가 없었음. 아침 식사가 제공되며, 요청에 따라 계란 요리나 베이컨등을 만들어 주심. 정성스러운 요리에 기분 좋은 하루를 시작할 수 있었음.

The cottage was very quaint and cosy. Staff left you alone to enjoy your holiday which was nice. Check in and check out was a tad confusing and needed attention. Gas fire place instead of actual fire place which is deceptive but safer option I guess for the hotel given the lack of human interaction. All round a pleasant stay.

Lovely property close to restaurants and shops in Cowes. Very clean and quiet but close to the beach and facilities. Simple and straightforward check in and contact with the manager was there if needed.

Nice Cozy Cottage with Parking
Its a nice cozy place for 4 of us on a friends trip to Phillip Island. We got back late from dinner, the staff has left but left us a note as to where the key was. It would have been nice to give us a call since I left a local number with my booking. Internet is almost non existence. Close to the main stretch of Cowes. If you stay there check out the Italian Pizza place! Has heater / aircon. Only qualm is that for 4 of us, they gave really miniature size molton brown toiletries which were barely enough.

Disappointed
We booked a three bedroom facility Turned out we were allocated to a small cottage It was really small with hardly much room to move around or put our luggages The facility is quite aged, so different from that was shown on photos

I'm sorry to hear that your accommodation did not meet your expectations. Our Seaside Studio is our budget family accommodation and priced accordingly for up to 5 guests. We do have photos for each room at our venue and all have the descriptions of each facility. It is also the only Studio with 3 bedrooms the rest are for just up to 2 guests. Please accept our apology that it was not what you expected.

Cozy self contained unit with every amenity you’ll need to make your own meals and enjoy a warm night by the gas fireplace. Jetted tub made it luxurious.

The cottages were very comfortable, set in a quiet spot but close enough to town. We had a really relaxing night away.

What a great place. We stayed in ‘Driftwood’. Deal with the minor criticism first: there wasn’t enough crockery or knives and forks etc in the kitchen area. However everything else was spot on. It was clean comfortable and in a great position

Cold not be more perfect
Charming Jill has created a perfect home away from home. Everything is of the highest quality and comfort. location excellent - close to the centre of Cowes but quiet. Easy drives to the main attractions.

High quality accommodation in a popular area
Having struggled to find good quality accommodation in the area we were delighted with our stay here. The room was of a high standard, it was really clean and high quality bed linen was provided. The breakfast was great too and the host was really pleasant and helpful. We will certainly book again in future.

We had a wonderful (albeit short) stay at the Holmwood Guesthouse. The place is cozy and very well-decorated. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Breakfast is delicious. Have stayed here twice and highly recommend to anyone coming to Philip Island.

Appreciated the attention to detail
We appreciated the owners attention to detail, from the fit out of this refurbished period home with high quality furnishings & fittings, with rooms simply, but elegantly furnished. Attention to detail extended from comfy beds and pillows, bar fridge with chilled water, tea & coffee making facilities, TV and free wi-fi,complimentary toiletries that even included make-up remover wipes. We enjoyed a beautiful breakfast of fresh juice,fruits and yoghurt, as well as a full English breakfast. The outlook from our room (the verandah room) was of the beautiful, inviting verandah, which enticed you out with the ambience of the cane lounge setting, wisteria laden fretwork verandah, overlooking the extensive garden. A great view from our window, as well as a perfect secluded spot to sit and enjoy a glass of wine, or a cup of tea or coffee.

Great location, walking distance
We could not fault anything about our stay here. Walking distance to beach and restaurants, fantastic staff, very clean and stylish rooms and fantastis breakie. Would highly reccomend and can't wait to come back!

very unpleasant stay. very very basic room. doors chipped, entrance gate rusty, no one at reception when we checked in at 4:30pm. just a note saying that door to the apartment unlocjed with keys inside.

Fantastic decor, comfortable and luxurious stay
Very cute cottage-style house. Hostess was lovely, the entire house is beautifully decorated (loved the koala-print chairs) and the bed was huge and one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in! The breakfast was delicious and the beach and main street is only one street away. I enjoyed an early morning coffee on the porch watching honeyeaters feeding on all the garden flowers and the air smelt wonderful, of seasalt and flowers. Very relaxing, highly recommend if you are looking for something extra special.

Das Ferienhaus entsprach insofern nicht unseren Erwartungen, als es ohne täglichen Zimmerservice war. Frühstück konnte für 20 A$/Person dazugebucht werden. Insgesamt hatten wir etwas mehr erwartet.

Nice room, clean modern and great sheets!
Stayed for one night. Room was big enough, small but really nice bathroom with great toiletries. Host was very nice and breakfast was delicious, would stay there again.

Nice place close to the beach
I loved the place it is close to everything, only few minutes walk to Aldi and Coles which I found very convenient since I don't like takeaway. Also the staff advised us about how to get to see the penguins and told us to get proper clothing cuz it gets very cold at night. The only thing I don't like is that the main room had no door only the other two rooms which I found inconvenient, no privacy!! However we enjoyed our stay.

The minute we arrived, the owner was waiting for our arrival. She was so warm and friendly and reminded us that we needed to get tickets for the penguin parade. We loved the seaside suite that we had and enjoyed the layout of the rooms. It was on the whole very pleasant accommodation and would highly recommend this guesthouse.

Characterful small guest house at Cowes
The property consists of 3 double bedrooms in the main house,and three cottages in the rear garden. We were incorrectly booked into a 2 storey cottage which has the bathroom on the ground floor,which is most incovenient . At our request our host kindly rebooked us into the main house with a delightful verandah bedroom and ensuite bathroom. We spent a most comfortable night and enjoyed a full English breakfast next morning. At the booking stage we were informed that the accommodation offered was the last available otherwise we would not have accepted the cottage in the garden that slept 4 people What a surprise to discover that we were the only guests! This fault may only be attributed to the booking agent and can only be construed as a ruse to make us use this accommodation rather than open up the main house. This was most annoying when we arrived. I would advise direct contact with the owner of this and other properties to avoid an misunderstanding on future occasions.
