Our stay at this resort was fantastic! The grounds were beautiful, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The pool area was inviting and perfect for relaxing, and the lobby bar had amazing bartenders who made every drink and interaction enjoyable. While the resort has only two restaurants, both were excellent with delicious food. The staff overall was friendly and attentive, making our stay truly memorable. It’s a small resort but highly recommend for a relaxing and fun getaway!

Our stay at the Westin Cozumel had some high points. The food was delicious and the service was top-notch; every staff member we encountered was friendly and eager to help. Unfortunately, the hotel infrastructure is letting the staff down. The property is very dated and visibly suffering from a lack of maintenance. We actually had to change rooms after checking in because our first room was in unacceptable condition. Beyond the rooms, the hotel shows signs of neglect, including broken items in common areas and visible mold. It feels like the property isn’t being cared for the way it should be. We left happy because of the warm hospitality, but management seriously needs to invest in updating and fixing this facility.

Returned a week ago from the Westin and although the hotel is one of my favorite with the snorkeling off the beach and a wonderful place to relax we noticed the quality of the food has gone downhill over the years. There were a few nights that only a handful of people ate at the restaurants on the property which even for off season was noticeable. The shower in our room flooded terribly and it took until the 3rd day to be moved. The cleaning staff the waiters and bartenders are great and work hard to take care of you. Drinks are of decent quality but like some food you have to pay for top shelf liquor. For the price it’s definitely worth it but if not kept on top of things I fear the ratings are going to continue to decline and really hate to see that. This place had the highest ratings the first few years it was open.
