“The room was very clean when we got there (although one chair was very wobbly - so we avoided sitting on it). The amenities were very nice - including coffee, tea, water and even Caramel Wafers (nice touch). Check out was seamless, location is great, so much available to do.”

“This property is right on the river with lots of shopping and restaurants in easy access. I appreciated the availability of a parking permit, since all the street parking says permit only. They were smart to leave the washer manual in the welcome notebook as I had no idea how to operate this style of washer. Check in info was sent to our what’s app, which makes a lot of sense, since they draw travelers from all over the world. I wish we could have stayed longer!”

“The property was easy to access and in a great location in Inverness. The host was accomodating and accessible...at first. When we arrived at the property, we found the hot tub liner was ripped which made using it a challenge...also we found several of the showers would not get cold and the heads on a couple showers would spray everywhere. Also, the heater behind the washer/dryer turned off and started blinking an error code. In the 5 days we had booked, we tried to contact the host four...

“Easy self check in, very glad our apartment was on the main floor, so minimal steps. Very comfortable. Bed was quite firm, but nice bedding. Asked for and received an extra pillow. Great stay!”

“We had a lovely short stay at Macbeth’s Hillock. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. We mainly stayed there overnight while travelling, but I also cooked dinner there, which worked very well. The location is peaceful, close to local sights, and right next to a farm with beautiful sheep, which made the stay feel even more charming. A very pleasant place for our short stay.”

“Many thoughtful amenities. Sleeps an intimate two, not three as promised on both Expedia and another booking site. Host ignored Expedia message request for use of (non-existent) sofa bed and instead sent a direct email with door code. Daughter and I enjoyed this last minute booking but felt a bit bait and switched. Exceptionally clean,well appointed suburban backyard unit.”

“Urgently needed a room for the night due to bereavement and booked this as it was cheap. Keys for room needed collection from sister hotel a couple of minutes walk away, the receptionist was lovely and welcoming. The room however was very basic (which was not really a problem for the time we were there but did intend to stay possibly longer). The bathroom was dirty and mould on the tiles. The bed was in desperate need of replacement and mattress felt like “whack-a-mole” with springs popping up!...
