"The room was clean, the staff was nice, close to the beach. Downside- the room came with only one wash cloth. I asked three times and never got one. I had to use a hair towel which worked but wasn’t ideal. Requested toilet paper as well and never got it had to go to the front desk for it. The pump for the body wash in the shower didn’t work. I had to remove the top and use it that way. Minor inconvenience but for the cost of the room they could do better. The electric went out twice while we were there only at this location so I’m not sure if they blew a fuse or what. We never did get an explanation. Crazy how hotels charge a 300$ deposit to protect their items but can’t provide the basics. Over all it was ok. "

"The staff here are really lovely and responsive. The hotel has really good bones, it could be fantastic, it just needs a bit of a refresh. The housekeeping staff were wonderful as well, we always returned to a super clean room! Thank you Meridian!"

"This is an old 1950s gem. So, as long as you go in understanding that, you will enjoy it. The walk to the beach is 5 min. Beach is lovely. Kitchen was poorly equipped. The couch that was supposed be a bed for our adult daughter was too small. Our our balcony, the view is The Ritz Carlton. We paid $200 a nite and Ritz was $1900 per nite. Point is, you get what you pay for and $200 per nite was our price point. "

"Hotel was located right off of I-95. In the heart of downtown Miami, just shy of Brickell. Conveniently located. Unfortunately it wasn’t my first choice. It was conveniently priced compared to other hotels in the area for the time I needed to travel. Weekends they are extremely busy and the motor lobby/valet parking is shortstaffed so you need patience. The room you rent has very minimal amenities and you do hear your neighbors next-door and the noise outside of your room outside of the building. If you’re coming for somewhere just to lay your head it’s okay. "
