This is an incredibly gorgeous palace, complete with a gate door and unique keys for old bolt locks. The main courtyard is beautiful and opens to the sky, the decor is incredible, and my room included floor to ceiling window-doors that opened up to a private patio. AC worked great, especially during a heat wave! The ceilings that are made of original wood... Gorgeous! They offer such a unique and amazing experience that you just cannot get anywhere else. The staff were incredibly kind, and went out of their way to help me with travel arrangements to get me to/from the airport after my driver did not show up and I missed my flight. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you for such a uniquely special experience! I will NEVER forget it!

A luxurious way to stay

It was fabulous all around. It felt like a nice clean and luxurious home away from home. I think we have the most basic room and yet we had more than everything we needed. A lovely living room area, plenty of delicious coffee, tea, water, even complimentary biscuits and snacks. There was a fridge and nice robes and slippers. The only thing that was less than ideal was the shower because my husband is taller than most Italian showers but didn’t take away from an amazing stay and feeling while we were there.

Our room was comfortable and nicely arranged. The manager clearly put a lot of thought into it. It is within walking distance to the cathedral and town square. There is also a private parking in the back. Overall, it was a very nice stay, and I highly recommend this place.

Wonderful hospitality by Roberto Parolini. Always available for tips and advice with regard to Cremona. Very special experience to stay in a place that dates 600 years back.

まず最初に言っておきたいのですが古城ホテルなどの歴史的な建物をホテルとして使っている場合、もともとがとても古いので現代の快適な住環境とはかなり違うということを認識しておくべきということです。 今回の滞在はそういうことをふまえたうえで非常によかったです。 水周りも新しい設備にされていて使いやすかったですし、 スタッフの方の対応も丁寧でよかったです。 建物そのものが博物館級の素晴らしさだったので、もう少し堪能したかったくらいです。 もう少しいい季節にまた来れたらと思います。
