"It's OK. Room had a slight odor, not cigarette smoke, but unclear what it was. TV was hard to use. AC unit had mild rattle but weather was chilly so we were ok with fan only. Motel clientele looked to be primarily contractors and truck drivers.. nothing against, just not families and couples. Breakfast was quite good"

"Our room ended up having bed bugs. When I brought this up to the gentleman at the front desk, he said “I’ll have a manager contact you after an investigation. You probably brought them from home.” Wouldn’t give me the managers number, and couldn’t, and wouldn’t discuss anything else. Very disappointed in this property. I travel quite often for work, and frequent Holiday Inn. I absolutely will not be returning to a HI in the future. "

"Rooms were clean and comfortable, location is great for downtown access and Newberry College. Building and interior is a bit older/tired, but upkeep seems good overall."

"Breakfast was not a buffet - just a glorified continental with a waffle maker. The door locks didn’t work and had to be replaced (still didn’t work with the card keys even after it was replaced). The shower leaked the entire time we were there. Location was near a train track so don’t expect much sleep without earplugs. The walls are paper thin, we could hear our neighbors using the restroom often. And the bed frame sounded like a file cabinet when you rolled over. There were light blocking blinds but the light went around them so bring a sleep mask. On the plus side, the AC worked, the staff was mostly helpful, and the mini-fridge was quite good. Overall, the location was not the best and it felt quite run-down for a “quality inn”. Despite the cheaper price, I would not recommend this over a motel 6 or equivalent."
