“The bed was comfortable, everything was spotless. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Location great, just a few minutes walk from the marina and town. Easy on-street parking. I would not hesitate to stay here again.”

“Excellent buffet breakfast and large room with balcony overlooking pool and sea. Massive discount for week prior to Easter. However, bar and restaurant were closed and no entertainment provided. 15 minute walk to town centre for facilities. Bidet in bathroom would have been handy, when only feet needed washing. No toilet brush or plastic stool to sit on to dry yourself after a shower. Got stressed out trying to get safe in bedroom to lock. Followed instructions keying in 4 numbers and # key....

“The hotel is located at suberb area which looks like new town. It took 7 min. from the downtown of Kartagena by my car. Spacious parking places. Breakfast was good. The staff was very friendly and provided precise information for Kartegena tourism. Grocery store, ALDI, was within walking distance. Room was spacious. But bedding was average.”

“The property needs some updating. Areas showing wear and tear need to be fixed. Not a 5 star property. No bath mats, only 2 towels, no in room safe, no coffee machine. We could not use the A/C since entire hotel was still on heat and we were told that the hotel was either one or the other. Being 25 celcius out, couldn’t understand why the heat would still be running. Staff seemed pre-occupied and not particularly motivated to help. Property also understaffed. “We originally booked the Bahia hotel as we've stayed there before & enjoyed it! However, it was closed & we were offered a stay at Dos Playas. Our room was modern, clean ,lovely hot water, large balcony overlooking the pool. The staff were polite, respectful & helpful. There were 3 full touring buses so the hotel was a little noisier than expected.”
