“From the moment we arrived, the mgr or owner, kept harping on the fact that I’d selected the wrong date/s. I apologized & explained I’d been driving however he continued to chastise me. When we were finally given keys, the room we had had a plumbing leak from the bathroom into the bedroom. It was so late and I had a job interview that morning so we slept in a room with a sopping wet carpet. “This was a nice hotel for a one-night stay along Route 66. The room was clean and quiet.”

“Clean and a unique experience but we had ants in the bathroom. Had no water when we got up but no one prepared us by letting us know a water main broke and there was no one in the office when we tried to ask. Had to call someone.”

“Clean room, good price. On Route 66, could make that the focus of the motel.”
