Very small room and no AC. The highlight is the breakfast buffet. Excellent food and great view from the 6th floor on the harbor. If you just use the room for sleeping and you are not staying in the middle of the summer it’s a great hotel. The staff was very nice.

Aufenthalt war sehr gut. Gepäck wurde von Anlieferfirma entgegengenommen und aufs Zimmer gebracht. Die Bar war leider nicht geöffnet. Das Restaurant war ausgebucht, keine Reserve für Gäste des Hauses.

Matig voor een 4-sterren hotel

Kamer waar prima, heerlijke douche, prima bed, ware het niet dat de dekbedden belachelijk kort waren. Geen airvo/ klimaatbeheersing, enkel verwarming op de kamer. Wel vriendelijk personeel. Restaurant was volgeboekt in eerste instantie, toen mijn collega om een tafel vroeg bleek het wel mogelijk, echter medewerker werd gecorrigeerd dat hij mij zojuist geen tafel kon geven. Overigens leken er wel tafels vrij. We mochten ook niet aan de bar zitten. Was een rare situatie. Hoofdgerecht in het restaurant was prima, nagerecht was aanfluiting. Restaurant personeel mag wat enthousiaster.

Comfortable, coastal hotel

In spite of the hotel undergoing refurbishment, I was not inconvenienced and it was spotless and warm. The panoramic view of the River Elbe from the 6th floor restaurant at the ample hot/freshly cooked/cold buffet breakfast is an unbeatable start to the day. The staff are welcoming and helpful. It is a quick 10minute taxi ride from the station.

Bei unserer Buchung ist leider ein Fehler unterlaufen, weshalb wir das gebuchte Zimmer nicht beziehen konnten. Wir durften in den ganz frisch gebauten Appartements hinter dem Hotel einziehen. Diese waren natürlich komplett neu eingerichtet. Bei uns roch es noch ordentlich nach Silikon und sogar Bohrstaub war noch auf den Amaturen im Bad zu finden. So neu waren also die Zimmer. Die Aussicht ist etwas verbaut, da die Sicht auf den Hinterhof des Hotels ging. Dennoch konnte man den Balkon genießen. Das Bett war herrlich bequem und das Badezimmer ausreichend groß. Unser kleines Wohn,- Esszimmer war auch super. Allerdings wurde bei der Planung der Steckdosen wohl geschlafen. In der super ausgestatteten Küche ist nicht eine zu finden, und auch am Bett lediglich eine, die durch die Stehlampe belegt war. Wie die eigentlichen Hotelzimmer aussehen können wir demnach nicht beurteilen. Auch die Sauna und das Schwimmbad haben wir nicht genutzt, da wir nur eine Nacht in Cuxhaven verbracht haben. Das Hotel macht aber einen liebevoll eingerichteten und sauberen gesamt Eindruck. Restaurant im sechsten Stock bietet einen wunderbaren Ausblick über das Wattenmeer. Frühstück ist lecker und vielfältig. Von Eier in allen Ausführungen bis zu süßen Stückchen ist alles zu finden. Der Prosecco ist verlockend. Personal überall super nett und Hilfsbereit. Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Alten liebe. Super Ausgangspunkt für alle möglichen Ausflüge und Spaziergänge.
