I ordered room service slightly after the cut-off time, and although the order was automatically cancelled, my card was charged. I contacted the hotel immediately and followed all their instructions โ WhatsApp, reception, and email โ but got nothing in return except a thumbs-up emoji.
Despite requesting a refund multiple times, I received no real communication or resolution. To this day, I still havenโt gotten my money back.

โThis hotel is lovely! The staff were all so kind and treated us very well. There is free coffee and juice in the lobby which was a nice surprise. Beds are very spacious and the AC was a godsend in the August heat. The only thing that is tricky is that the Zaandam train station is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel, and the area is not very well lit. This is obviously not the hotel's fault and they keep the property very secure, but just as a note! Would still highly recommend - it is a great...
