Very good hotel but starting to wear out. They don’t like using the AC in common areas gets quite warm. Great position opposite the beach. Shops, restaurants nearby. Time to up their game to remain competitive at their price. Look around for just as good but cheaper.

Definitely not a 5 star hotel. Manage your expectations and you will be pleasantly surprised. The location is amazing and the price was affordable. I enjoyed breakfast every morning with the medium size selection of Vietnamese food options. The front desk staff does their best to accommodate all guest despite the language barrier. Here are my cons: the lobby is always hot, the elevators are extremely hot, and the gym is hot. I feel like the hotel is trying to conserve energy or save money so the AC doesn’t work in these areas. People smoked in the hallways (or their rooms and you could smell it in the hallways) on two separate occasions. When they say breakfast ends at 0930 they are serious, they even turn the AC off at 0930 in the breakfast area. I called the front desk from a local number asking to be transferred to a room in the hotel and I was hung up on multiple times. When I confronted them in person about the situation they apologized and said they were busy. Would I stay there again, probably not, but I did enjoy the walkability and proximity to EVERYTHING including the beach. Very safe neighborhood with plenty of taxis and Grab services in the front of the hotel.

The check in and check out was not good. Front desk staff were not pleasant. They seemed unhappy to be working there and it showed in their interactions with me and our party. The hotel caters to a lot of tour groups and it’s chaos in the lobby when the bus drops off the large groups. I think staff is overwhelmed and are just going through the motion. They look like they do not want to be there. This hotel is listed as a 5 stars. It was the 5th hotel we stayed at during our long trip in Vietnam. Service there was the worse and the facilities appear dated. It’s dark in much of the hotel, especially the common space. The hotel is at best a 3 star hotel. We had an executive room. Great ocean view but the carpet in the room was worn and dated. Our stay included breakfast. It’s chaos there as well as there were no staff to greet us, so we found our own table. There was only one employee working the floor and the tables were not cleared for the next guest. Food was as terrible so we decided to eat out for the remainder of our trip. In short, the only thing good about the hotel is its location across from the beach. Nothing else about the hotel is worth mentioning. I cannot recommend this place. It’s the only hotel in my journey that I would not return to.
