“ Great location to bases yourself at Cape Tribulation. This effectively is the end of the 2 wheel drive road. Our King hut was comfortable had a bathroom with shower, air conditioning and a ceiling fan. In a semi private area the porch with outside chairs and table was a nice spot to relax. The shared facilities at the camp were great, good bathrooms, a large kitchen, refrigeration and coin operated washing machines. The on site Cafe offers breakfast and lunch. “We had a great stay. George the owner is very proud of his property and showed us all around his gardens. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. Very convenient to Daintree Discovery Center. All damage from the December 2023 “extreme rain event” have been repaired. Don’t hesitate to book. You can have breakfast and dinner at the hotel cafe. Otherwise, there are very limited restaurant options, and no markets nearby, so stock up before you get on the ferry, either at Mossman or Port Douglas....
