"We began our journey around Iceland with a winter Ring Road itinerary. Due to the long driving distances during winter, our original reservation was for December 11. However, thanks to the hotel’s kind flexibility and consideration, we were able to adjust our stay to December 10, which helped our travel plans greatly. The hotel exceeded our expectations. It was very clean, well maintained, and the facilities were excellent. As this was a mid-point stop along the Ring Road, it was especially convenient to use the guest laundry room with both a washing machine and a dryer, allowing us to finally catch up on our laundry. There is also a beautiful church right in front of the hotel, which was a nice and relaxing place to visit. Everything about this hotel was comfortable and well thought out, with absolutely nothing to complain about. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily choose this hotel again if we return to Akureyri. Highly recommended."
