“I had an amazing one-night stay at Agnus Unawatuna in Unawatuna, Sri Lanka. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and very clean. The entire hotel was spotless and well maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the stay even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious, and one of the best parts of the hotel was the stunning rooftop infinity pool with breathtaking views. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sri Lanka.”

“The place is app 15 minutes drive from the fort and the area is rather rural. The hotel has no restaurant and it is quite dirty. Especially the pool. The owners are very sweet and sericeminded but dont speak English. But they help you with everything. Unfortunately you CANNOT pay by card. That meant the owner spent the mirning driving me from ATM to ATM in order to gather enough cash to pay. Ridicilous! ”

“This property is a bit tucked away and not the easiest to access, but once you arrive, it’s well worth the journey. The staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly, and the complimentary tuk-tuk shuttle service to and from the main road is a thoughtful touch that makes getting around much easier. Breakfast is simple but satisfying, providing a good start to the day.”

“Nice facility, our room was fairly unique with some fake rock. Our daughter's room had a cool outdoor bathtub. You get great use of two other Thambapanni resorts in the area. Rooms are large and interesting. Very musty. The air conditioner needed to be maintained to keep mildew out. Clothes drying rack, nice bathroom and good breakfast. Super accommodating staff.
Unawatuna is a bit of a Russian tourist trap. Aggressive tuktuk drivers and merchants. Jungle Beach nice but crowded. The Sea Waves...

“The standing of this hotel which claims, boasts and advertises as luxurious was really disappointing.
Premises are ageing, amenities and food offer very basic and the standards of both cleanliness
