"PHENOMENAL. My fiancé and I spent a magical night in this gorgeous hotel. We didn’t make use of the amenities despite them being a major selling point… we were too comfy and exhausted from a long day exploring and hiking. We will be very happy to come back in the future, however. The staff are beyond wonderful. Thank you!"
"This small hotel is picturesque and perfect for a quiet stay on a driving itinerary in Iceland. The view from hot tub is spectacular and the rooms new and well appointed "

"Chef Theodore in Restaurant Calor was amazing! The food was excellent and he shared interesting details about the food and his travels. We enjoyed Calor very much!"
"We stayed in the cabins, which are adjacent to the main building. The rooms were great. Very spacious, with a small patio. Very clean. Looks new. Bathrooms have a proper shower, which is a big plus. "
"This was a beautiful place and a great experience. We walked the property to see the horses and thermal spring. The owners also invited us into the barn to meet the foals as they were getting their id chips. We very much enjoyed our stay."
Fossatún Camping Pods & cottages – Sleeping bag accommodation
10/10 Excellent
"This place is a gem! The pods are not huge but very cozy - more than what we needed. Finding the place was easy and staff was super nice. Parking is right next to your pod. You will need to bring your beddings or you can rent there for a fee. The little hiking trail right next to it and the wifi/common area was a nice plus, and the spa too! The restaurant offers an amazing view and their breakfast is very decent. A small problem we had was that the washrooms did run out of toilet papers sometimes. Overall well worth the money, recommend!!"
"Loved the view from the hotel. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We arrived early so jumped in the hot tub before dinner. Service and breakfast were very good too."
