최악입니다. 밤에 늦게 도착해서 갔는데 갑자기 돈이 지불 안됐다고 계속 주장해서 증명하라고 해대서 1시간 가까이 실랑이하고 갑자기 다른 다 쓰러져가는 호텔로 데리고 가서 거기서 재웠습니다. 사기꾼 호텔. 절대 비추

This is dirty hotel, too much bad smile, I checked late that’s why stay few hours than left. Toilet too duty, no toilet rolls, no water tap no shawer line. This for street people’s.

Bad first impressions with two members of staff hassling me about buying travel tickets before I’d even checked in. Room was an ok space, but couldn’t get antiquated AC to work and ceiling fan was so loud as to make sleep difficult. Minimal natural light from the window opening out onto a wall a foot or so away. Did seem to have on demand hot water, unlike some places in the area. Sure it’s cheap, but there are other better places nearby for similar price.

OK value for money
First of all: Be aware of the taxi driver trying to scam you when taking a cab from the airport. They told us that the roads to the city center were closed because of riots, and that they had to take us to the "tourist office" to find an alternative place to stay, prefereably out of Delhi. Refuse to let them take you there, and say you will take another cab. The "tourist office" is only there to scam you! The hotel: - Ok bed. - Smelly fridge, and not working. - Super noisy ceiling fan and AC, and no remote control. - No hot water. - Should have been given a blanket for cover, and not the heavy, not so clean, felt carpet. We enjoyed the location, lots to see, though the streets in the area was very busy and dirty. As expected.

Service was prompt. Most staffs were Nepalis men, they do not greet, smike, or speak much and do not offer any assistance unless you ask. Dirty tea kettle in room and refrigerator, toilet flushed very slow. Most of tv programs were not available and programs were not recharge so we were not able to watch anything for 2 days. Menu from restaurant are small and very few choices, but food was ok.

Worst stay pls avoid
Worst experience, pls avoid staying at this hotel as the rooms are shabby, doors does not lock, bathroom has leakage, lift was not working, staff was helpful but were constrained due to their working limitations I would rate this hotel as 1 star Pls avoid this hotel... or be ready to write a bad review.

The hotel may have seen better times, but it definitely not worth the 4,200 rupees that they charge me per night. It is a depressing place, with perhaps clean but they were definitely grey (from endless washing and drying in the local polluted air). The roof top restaurant is a roof, but not top, as it is surrounded by other roofs with water tanks, washing lines, etc. and there is no restaurant. The food is brought to you from the same place as the room service is brought. All I saw there was a british guy, wrapped in a blanket against the cold night who read about it a roof top restaurant in the Lonely Planet (I read what they wrote about the place, and I don't think they were ever in it). All in all, not a good experience. I booked in advance, but left the next morning.

Property was very good. Desk attendant tried to scam us into paying taxes on the hotel booking, which were already paid to Expedia with a notation that they are passed onto the vendor. Was definitely a scam, given up by some of his statements "Most people don't realise that they have to pay the taxes locally" plus others give away statements. Hotel was very good but just warning others to check their Expedia invoice to avoid paying taxes twice.

The hotel is located in a very congested and dirty area close to new delhi railway station.Airport link metro is close-by.Hotel stuff was friendly.The room we were given was small(atleast compared to the pictures) and wasn't very clean as well.Although during next day's room service they cleaned it properly.The hotel can be consdered if you are on a tight budget in delhi.

Helt okej för det priset det är rent och ser bra ut och personalen är mycket trevlig. Daglig städning nyår dock inte. Restaurangen var bra man kan äta frukost och middag där. Det fanns kylskåp på rummet vilket vi använde mycket. Området runt om är nästan slum som det mesta av Delhi men mycket kul att se sig om i. Det var tråkigt nog två försök att själa något när vi gick ute först försökte dom att öppna ryggsäcken när vi promenerade och en ficktjuv stoppade handen i byxfickan men det upptäckte vi också. Wi-fi fungerade men var osäkert.

受付のお兄さんが変なテンションで少しメンドウ臭かった。 freeWi-Fiをつかいたいからパスワードを教えてくれと伝えたら、お金がかかるみたいなことを言われた。(機械を持ってきて、クレジットカード番号を入力してと言われた。)いや、freeって張り紙あるでしょと伝えたら、『インディアンジョーク(笑)』と言われた。 自分の意見を言わないとお金がかかる方向に持っていかされる可能性あり。 気を付けてください。 チェックインするとトイレットペーパーが渡されます。

Nice terrace and friendly staff
The staff are extremely helpful, quick and very friendly. The terrace is perfect to relax in the breeze and the food is excellent and reasonably priced. We used their pickup service from the airport as we arrived at 1am and it worked out perfect and our room was ready when we arrived. The room was spacious and clean, the showers were hot and the wifi worked well. The bed was comfy though could have used an extra sheet instead of the felt blankets and the a/c didn’t work for whatever reason but it wasn’t needed during our stay. The hotel also organized us to take a Tuk Tuk to New Delhi Train Station for a good price without the hassle of having to negotiate. The only thing we didn’t really care for was the area on the way to the station, walking that way was a bit dodgy and I would suggest walking to Ramakrishna Ashram Marg Station instead and take the Metro.

Good hotel, great staff
Clean and comfortable rooms, quite noisy but to be expected with the area. Food on roof really good, especially the veg thali! Good luggage storage area, and let us stay in the lobby for hours when our train was delayed after our stay.

Hotel did not have room the first night we booked - offered us a room in another hotel. Stayed at Amax for second and third night. Staff is great - friendly and helpful. Room was smaller than pictured. Hot water, AC working. Loud from other guests and vehicles on street. Bed is ok; pillow is thin. Clean. Good location.

Rooftop restaurant was not great although the food was tasty. Room was small but clean. We booked a driver to take us through the rest of our trip (Agra-Pushkar-Jodphur-Jaipur-Delhi). They gave us a good price - ~£13 per day per person for two people. If they offer to book trains for you and say there aren't any seats left DON'T believe them. Go to another travel agent (plenty on the same road) and ask the to book trains for you.

Perfect for backpackers, friendly staff
A clean but simole room, central location for exploring by bike or tuk tuk, staff are helpful when requiring to book trips from dehli. Food is pleasant. Wifi excellent. Perfect for backpackers.

Poor hotel, very different from photographs
Do not recommend anyone staying. Hotel is very different from photograph. There is no hot shower and the bed is uncomfortable. Blanket is quite dirty and it gives u the itch.

Pour low budget seulement!
À distance de marche de la gare de train, cet hôtel est correct pour les backpackers / low budget. Le personnel est gentil, mais le quartier est excessivement bruyant et très pauvre. Le jour c'est ok, mais je ne recommande pas aux femmes seulement de s'y aventurer le soir. La chambre était bien, la salle de bain petite et l'eau chaude disponible à partir de 5h le matin, mais pas toute la journée. La terrasse sur le toit est agréable. On peu manger et prendre une bière tranquille. Attention aux scam, plusieurs rickshaw ne veulent pas s'aventurer dans le quartier quand vous leur demander. Ils disent que c'est dangereux et vous ferons croire qu'il faut avoir une passe spéciale à cause d'émeutes récentes et d'assasinats. Ce qui est faux!!! À Delhi, tout le monde veut vous amener dans les offices de tourisme. Un autre scam très fréquent, dites non! Ils se font une commissions et ces endroits ne sont pas officiels. Il y en a des centaines dans la ville... Ne restez pas plus de 2-3 jours à Delhi, il n'y a pas grand chose à voir!

Relatively nice hotel for the price
Hotel double booked us on arrival so sent us to a neighbouring hotel. This one was not as nice and right on the street so very noisy. They then tried to charge us the full amount when checking out even though on checkin we had discussed a reduced rate due to the double booking.

Jag bodde på Amax Inn mina första fyra nätter i Delhi och i Indien. Jag övernattade även där på väg från Rishikesh mot Jaipur samt Agra till Varanasi. Jag är en någorlunda resvan man i 30-årsåldern och anser mig vara ödmjuk, tålmodig och okomplicerad ute i världen. Detta var min första vistelse i Indien. Några omdömen från Amax Inn: Positiva + Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. + Bra, prisvärd, god och lättillgänglig mat från hotellrestaurang. + Hotellet kändes rent, säkert och lugnt. Negativa - Viss otydlighet avseende kostnader. - Typiskt undanhållande av information kring guideturer (butikbesök). - Ovilja att specificera ingående kostnader för arrangerad femdagarsresa (t.ex. icke önskade dyra hotell). - Viss känsla av överpriser/utsugande.

Good hotel, but "no guests" policy is frustrating
Good rooms for the price. Best shower I've had in India, strong pressure and very hot water. Quiet lane off the main road. Close to train station. There's no guests allowed, so if you fancy your hand at tinder then find a different hotel.

Amax Inn good and bad
Our first stay was very good and they arranged a tour of Rajasthan for us and another night there on our return. We arranged to stay another night after a short trip north before leaving for Nepal but when we got back at 1.30am (train was late) we were told they were full and would put us up in one of their other hotels nearby. It turned out to be substandard, very noisy, broken shower,etc and we had a sleepless night.

Good Budget Hotel With Excellent Service
I began my trip in India at Hotel Amax Inn. Airport pick-up for a reasonable fee was a definite benefit. Hotel staff were welcoming, helpful throughout my stay. The room was spotlessly clean and the service excellent. Definitely exceeded my expectations for a budget hotel.

Low point of Indian customer service
Indian hotels generally don't understand customer service, but this was the low point during my trip. I've booked a double room, so they ask how many of us are staying there. I explain that I'll sleep there alone and my two friends are flying off in the evening. After signing in, they say that visitors are not allowed in the hotel room. I explain that we slept in the train last night and my friends would just change their clothes and brush their teeth before their overnight flight. "Not possible". So I suggest they book another room. "No more rooms available". So I suggest they pay something for the possibility to brush their teeth in my room. "Guests are not allowed in the room". So I suggest they check in to my room, as I have a double room, but even that's not possible anymore. My friends have to wait in the lobby in dirty clothes. The room is clean, hot water is working in the morning and at other times when asked for. WiFi is not working. I booked a "luxury room" with A/C because it's cold. The room is cold and the A/C is not working. I'm being told that the A/C can be used only for cooling. The location is a relatively quiet street in Paharganj, which I didn't find that nice neighborhood.
