Grossly over-priced hotel in very nice area
It was a horrible experience from the start. To check in i needed my passport but My driver returned to the area 2 hours before the rest of the group, though the hotel had my paid reservation and my name hand-written in their book, they would not let me check-in with a copy of my visa and passport, passport card AND my drivers license.. Unfortunately my passport was in the tour bus with the others and I had to wait for the bus to retrieve my passport to check- in. They did not even want me to sit in the lobby to wait for it. The lobby is old and dusty. Then they took me to my room and thats when I pulled back the shees only to find it soiled from some action. So I called the front desk to ask them to change it.. The manager front desk argued with me that it is fine. I took pictures... The wall was crumbling an paint ws peeling. It was musty and dusty and the carpet which was once red had not been vacuumed in AGES was so dusty and dingy. The bathroom smelled like a a public park toilet and the shower had mildew and heavy scum down the wall and into the tub. the guy at the front desk charged A fee to a group member to come collect a bag from my room Then as I was checking out the following morning he charged me a fee for the same thing! Beware, it is not more than a 1 star hotel charging 3 star rates because its in an area with 3+ star hotels! Stay away! The breakfast was a fried egg that looked very dirty and some iffy tea-like drink.
