Great place to stay if you don't mind the chaos outside. The room was clean but you can notice the sheeds and pillos have seen some use. There is cooling air conditioner but no heater. The bathroom can get a little messy after a shower since the water can run easily to the rest of the bathroom. May get a little noisy if your room is facing the streets. Food was great, we had omelets as breakfast. As a tourist from a different country I felt a little uncomfortable walking outside sine most people is either looking at you or trying to offering you a ride somewhere. Not a lot to see from the rooftop but the area itself is great.

Helpful staff; Not very clean room
I had a very nice experience at Zostel Kathmandu several years ago and thus i decided to stay in Zostel Delhi. Somewhat disappointed. I stayed in a private room. The room is not clean though. I saw some insects and cockroaches. But the staff was all super friendly, helpful and nice.

The baggage storage area is shared with what appeared to be the food preparation area. Happened to see food all over the place when I picked up my bag. Not very clean in general so I’d think twice about ordering any food from the hostel. Plenty of food options in the area though. Overall a good option with friendly staff that is close to NDLS railway station.

There common area where we seat and work, that area is under maintenance, it’s property responsibility to arrange alternate if they have. But they are charging extra money to use a 1 room which is not in maintenance. And charging like 200₹ per head for 2-3hrs. There lift was not working. Day shift staff from reception didn’t found helpful. There dormitory is very very conjugated, and bathroom is like very uncomfortable. No ventilation.

インド駅から近く、目の前にコンビニもどきもあり、メインバザールへも近くて便利でした。 個室でしたので部屋は広かったです。シャワーですが、水量がチョロチョロなのと、夜は湯温が上がらずで、冬場の旅行ではちょっと厳しかったです。 コンセントが1か所（2口あるが干渉して1つしか使えず）でした。 ホテルで両替ができず、近くの両替所に連れて行ってもらいましたが、あまりレートの良いところではありあませんでした。 スタッフはフレンドリーでいい感じです。

ニューデリー駅に近く、空港への地下鉄乗り場も徒歩圏内。観光にも良い、最終日近くのマーケットで買い物し空港へ。とても便利でした

10 min walk to New Delhi Railway and 15 min walk to Metro station. Private room was nice, tv worked and had many english channels. Breakfast was about $4. Air conditioner was really loud and I couldn't sleep with it on at night.

I will not go there again...
The location is kinda bad, probably one of the worst areas of Delhi - dirty and full of scammers. Do not trust the local rickshaw drivers for tours around and such, You will pay overcharged fares for almost anything since he will get his share. The hostel seems a light in the dark compared to the surroundings, nice Place to stay with some entertainments (pool table, soccer table, cards, board games...), kinda clean and comfortable. Just be careful leaving your belongings in the room, I've left 8 packets of cigarettes inside my locked double private room and I haven't found them anymore... The staff is not trustworthy

Disappointed
The room they provided us was the worst room I can imagine off .The room wasn't clean at all and tiles were so sticky i don't wanted to touch it .I think They always leave the worst room for people booking rooms online .I don't think the room was worth 1600Rs .I won't even pay 300Rs for such types of rooms and The Ac wasn't working at all .I hope Expedia take some action against these hotels who always play tricks with customers doing pre booking because now they can't deny the room. Even if the rooms look like lock ups of police station .

watch them they greedy and poorly trained
Seems they can’t do paperwork. When I checked in we argued for over an hour about whether I’d paid or not. In the end I had to call hotels.com to confirm that I’d paid and then the receptionist spent another 30 minutes ON MY PHONE arguing with hotels.com because the price was too low and where’s their money? It all began to happen when I checked out too, they started arguing with me that I hadn’t paid for the room. I had places to be and tickets booked so to end the argument I picked up my cases and left.

Not Worth
At first sight, Roshan the reception staff was fabulous and very friendly and very casual approach,i understand they want us to feel like we enter in the hostel, but as i was not happy with the room and asked to change after a day and she promised to change but next day she ignored me at all and did not make her promise fulfill. As i stayed for 3 nights and booked 2 nights more for my friend still they gave me very dirty room with dirty bathroom. It was my biggest mistake i booked this hotel online, and they charged me double for the given room and cheated me. Thank you.

It was overrated and staff was not helpful
Staff was not particularly helpful, we booked a room for 3 and we were only offered a double bed, which was actually made by two twin beds putting together. When we asked if an additional bed would be available, the staff said he needed to check, we checked with him again around 15 mins later after settling down and he said he still needed to check. OK, we then went out for sightseeing and returned to the place hours later. When we checked with him again, he said he can arrange an additional bed. After we all got a shower (BTW, it was barely called a hot water bath) and we went to the reception and checked again, he said he can't arrange the additional bed, and at the end, one of our friends needed to sleep on the "middle" of the double bed which are actually the rims of two twin beds. The setting was clearly made for two people only as there are only two towels, two cups etc. The room was next to the washroom on ground floor so we kept on hearing people walking in and out.

It is in a crowded. but conveniently located
Room was not cleaned. Complaint about the flush made in the morning at 0800 hours was not looked into AT ALL. No bucket to throw additional water into the flush. When asked about it at 1100 PM, front office says - We can change your room. GREAT Had a vegetarian "buffet" dinner - no receipt was issued for payment made

Best location and atmosphere
As a family travelling together we would highly recommend this hotel. All the staff will go out of their way to help you and accommodate your needs. Centrally located to everything you will need.

Das Hotel bzw. Zostel ist vom Preis her ganz ok aber im complete Package leider eine Enttäuschung. Das ganze Hotel wirkt nach aussen hin sehr sauber aber die einzelnen Zimmer sind in einem sehr muffigen Zustand. Die Managerin ist sehr freundlich aber die anderen Service Mitarbeiter sehr unprofessionell. Ganz ehrlich, wenn ich schon in Delhi bin und die Möglichkeit habe die Stadt zu bekunden dann nehme ich mir das nächste Mal ein paar extra Euros in die Hand als Budget, aber dafür ein schönes Hotel. Leider kann ich niemanden dieses Hotel (Zostel) empfehlen.

Good hostel. Taxi driver told us was in dangerous area but we didn't have any trouble. friend lost her bag and hostel was helpful. Rooms okay. Nice rooftop! Bit expensive for what it is but overall good stay. Would recommend

Good hostel / Hotel
For a hostel it is good. Private / Twin rooms have decent beds, but no outdoor windows, only windows to a hallway. Wifi actually works good which was a surprise. Free clean water for drinking was a bonus. Location is also great. Washing machines on the roof top and drying racks !!! People who stay at this place are young and smoke on the lobby and make a bit noise so that could be a bonus for elderly people, however we did not mind. Biggest minus was that we stayed on the ground floor rooms on the last night and the hotel workers started playing loud bass dance music at 6am! So it was impossible to sleep. I can not understand really what they are thinking. Also the train noises come to the rooms so I recommend buying earplugs from the next door shop so you can sleep peacefully. They also tried to charge me when I was checking out though I paid thru hotels.com. I think this was a mistake thought.

Zostel provides a good stay and is located comfortably close to the New Delhi station. The only issue is the metro is not walking distance.

Very good hostel close to Delhi Rail Station
Zostel definitely is one of the best hostels in Delhi. I truly enjoyed my stay. Highly recommended.
