Food is excellent (breakfast is a standout), making the on-site dining worth staying in for. Convenient location too: about 15 minutes from the center of Monemvasia, so you’re close to the action but in a quieter spot. Overall, great value for a relaxed, quality stay.”

“Excellent hotel. In the room terrace, you can see the whole Monemvasia. It takes a few minutes to the island by car, and there is supermarket within 5 minutes walk. Room is clean and spacious, and has separate entrance balcony. And breakfast was good enough. Above all, the staff were so kind and warmhearted, I felt.”

“It is located in the center of the castle. So it qas bit tough to carry the big luggage to the hotel. ( The road inside of castle is paved with stones.) However other conditions are all perfect. “A hotel worth much more than two stars I would rate it at least three if not four stars The staff is lovely, Shontei, Hargiro, Nina, (I hope I wrote the names correctly) take care of you as a guest so that you will simply have a good time. The rooms are very clean and spacious, the hotel staff is quick to fix any problem. The view from the quiet private balcony is stunning in its beauty, the proximity to the most beautiful beach in the area, a 2-minute walk away, is worth it all. Coffee is free...

“I was there in December 2024. The owner and her family live upstais and that gives the property a plus of warmth! The room was nice and spacious with a little terrace. Very nice and quiet. Near Monemvaisa by foot. Near beaches. Beautiful mountains for hiking and rock climbing. Recommended ”

“This place was very nice. It was pretty close to the entrance to the walled city. There were a few pretty good stairs to climb (with luggage). It was difficult to find. I'll leave a pic of what to look for. Before you get to the place, you'll see a sign that says "GULAS", but at the actual entrance, it is in Greek. The owner was there waiting for us (even though we were later than expected). I wish I had gone ahead and paid when we arrived, as she was not present when we were ready to...

“Appartement tout neuf très confortable et bien situé par rapport à la ville de Gefira et à la ville basse de Monemvassia. Accueil sympathique par Stéphanie. Quelques soucis avec la literie neuve semble-t-il mais très inconfortable à notre goût. Qulques équipements de cuisine classiques non disponibles : bouilloire, planche à pain, palette ... Rien de dramatique toutefois. Une bonne adresse .. ”
