Unfortunately we did not enjoy our visit to the Lake St Clair Lodge.
We had hoped to eat at the Lodge but the menu was very limited, only 4 mains which were all meat based.
Breakfast was included but the only non meat option was not available. Of course this might not be a problem for some but at over $500 per night and given many people now choose a plant based option for many reasons, it was strange not to have anything available. There seemed to be a staff shortage which added to the communication.
The room, cabin style was adequate but very minimal in decor.
The very best part of the stay & a life saver, was the local pub where beautiful meals were served, lovely folk, helpful and welcoming.
The local attraction’The Wall’ was fabulous.
