"I can’t recommend this place enough to stay before or after a flight from Colombo airport. It’s only a 20 minute drive to the airport but you wouldn’t be able to tell as you really do feel like you’re in a peaceful oasis on this hotel site. The paddy fields surrounding it are beautiful as is the hotel itself. We did some fishing in the river at the back of the property with one of the staff and it was lovely, even if we weren’t good enough to actually catch anything.
The staff were brilliant, incredibly attentive and arranging dinner and breakfast for exactly the times we requested. Dining overlooking the paddy fields was lovely, as was the food itself.
Will be recommending this place to all my friends and family who are travelling to Sri Lanka as the BEST place to relax and start/end your trip on a high."
